Sharon,

Thank you soooooooo much for a well illustrated and directed Town Hall Discussion on yesterday. You engaged everybody in the audience and got the BEST from our families, as far as speaking from their heart.

The hugs and conversation at the end was key to me for a better communication and relationship between the families and the detectives. I love you my dear, stay in touch and will do the same and thank so much for your expertise in this discussion with our families.

Have a blessed Tuesday..

Subject: Thank You Sharon for the Wonderful Interview - Martin Davis - Are We There Yet?

Hello Sharon,

I just wanted to take a couple of minutes to personally thank you for the incredible radio segment we had yesterday. You're a powerful black woman and I'm proud to have met your acquaintance. Please keep doing what you do for our people. Knowledge is Power, and as long as you're providing People of Color with the knowledge we need to improve our current status here in America and throughout the world, you are a NECESSITY.

Thanks again for having me on your show. Our raw, uncut, frank, and unfiltered dialogue is what we need in the media as it relates to our people, our issues, our concerns, and our solutions.

Warmest Regards.

Martin L Davis

S
haron,

Your past 2 programs were spectacular!  The 'dog whistle' show was very enlightening.  I was glued to the entire show along with the  one following it.  The last one with  the icon who lives to light a fire under black people was stirring and sad.  What choice of guests!  This radio station is the best by far in Nashville and I would put ti up against any other smooth jazz station.

Great job!

Good afternoon Ms. Sharon,

This is Michael again!  I just wanted to congratulate you on hosting such a wonderful show.  I caught the show this morning, Sunday 07/132014, and thought it was fantastic.

I really liked Ms. Proctor's information she gave about how she kept her faith in the middle of looking for employment
.  She mentioned two fantastic scriptures, both of which I was familiar with, and are favorites of mine too.

You don't know how much your show inspires me.  I listen to you very often.  I have been listening since I first came to Nashville just under two years ago.

I hope you stay on the air forever.  Again thank you for the information you bring us here in Nashville.  The city would not be the same if you were not on the air!!

Sincerely,

Michael K.

Dear Sharon Kay,

Thank you so much for your ongoing support of the Fisk Authors Panel.  This year - we had more than 50 attendees.  I'm sure that your media blitz contributed to our success.
To thank for - here's my 5th publication.  I look forward to our next event.

Dear Sharon,

Thank you so much for kindness and hospitality in inviting th candidates for General Sessions Judge, Division II to join your discussion regarding the court and our respective interests in serving our community. Your program is exacly the type of exchange that helps our community better understand this important court, and to become familiar with those offering to serve.

I have enjoyed the jazz for quite some time and have 88.1 programmed on my stereo at my office, but also appreciate the outstanding public service you provide for listeners.  Once again, thank you, and I hope to be able to return for further discussions.  I would also appreciate your vote!  If I can be of assistance, please don't hesitate to call on me.

Best regards,
Max D. Fagan

Hello Sharon,

I just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed your recent interview with Dr. Norman Rosenthal on his book "The Gift of Adversity..."

It is not accepted in our society that failure is what makes us strong and allows us to grow. We need more books and messages around this topic.

Best regards,
Jim

Dear Ms. Kay:

Thank you for for giving me the opportunity to share in your radio station's dialogue on leadership.

Your decades of work as a respected broadcaster and the work you do at Fisk University, one of the nation's most respected HBCU's has put you in a great position to mentor and mold leaders.  I know from our robust discussion that you have deposited a wealth of knowledge into the lives of many people.

I hope that whenever you find yourself inside the Beltway, you will join us for worship at Grace Church.

Sincerely,
Dr. Derek Grier

Dear Sharon:

Thank you so much for allowing me to talk about What to Do When the Blessings Stop - When God Sends Famine on your wonderful program.  My great hope is that your listeners get real value from the interview and that they are informed and entertained. Your questions were intelligent and to the point, and your work is important to the Kingdom. I am grateful to be a part of it.

I must say also: Rarely have I enjoyed a phone interview so much.  You come across as genuine and likable and I felt at ease almost the minute ou started talking.  It really was a joy to discuss the Lord and his Kingdom with you.  I very much look forward to a car trip in 2014 to see Fisk U - especially Jubilee Hall, which looks so intriguing on the internet - and maybe even I'll get a chance to meet you.
