During that time Ms. Kay has not missed one show. What's the 411? with Sharon Kay has become a staple among the city’s media outlets and broadcasts. The fast-paced program, on the air since 2001, began on WQQK 92Q Cumulus Media before moving to Fisk University in 2005. (She was named General Manager of WFSK and moved her program with her.) Sharon is proud to say "I've never missed a show since the show began in 2001."
Over the years the informative talk program has hosted fundraisers for various causes in the community, lead community-based initiatives, connected mentors to mentees, family members, hosted political forums, and has been a ratings leader.
What’s the 411? with Sharon Kay has been proudly carried by the African American Public Radio Consortium. (AAPRC) network. It has also been carried by radio stations in Athens, Georgia and Detroit, Michigan.
